The Puppet Warp feature in Photoshop CS5 allows artists to warp objects using a skeleton that can have pins applied that can act as joints in the warp. You can use the Puppet warp feature for moving parts of an image, like adjusting an arm or leg, or creating interesting abstract effects by applying multiply warp points to one image and adjusting them individually. The Puppet Warp feature can be applied to layers that include, text, and vector layers; smart objects; and layer and vector masks. Adobe Repoussé is a tool for turning 2D paths into 3D meshes. The term Repoussé is derived from the art creating a shaped metal piece by hammering from the reverse side. You can use the Repoussé feature to take a layer and add dimension.
Apply 3D effects to 2D images by using Repoussé.
By selecting a text layer, or layer mask, work path or current selection, you can convert a 2D area in your image into a 3D mesh, offering you the ability to work with 3D features such as bevels, embosses, this is especially useful for creating 3D text effects.
Once in the Repoussé dialog box, you can apply a 3D preset to your object, or customize your own using the Materials, Extrude, Bevel, Inflate, Scent and Internal Constraints settings.
In Photoshop CS5, you can retouch complex images in just a stroke. The Content-Aware filling feature is not always perfect, but it does offer surprisingly accurate results when used to retouch images. You can use the new Content-Aware retouching feature by checking the Content-Aware radio box in the options of the Spot Healing Brush tool ().

Select like a pro using the new and improved Refine Edge feature. Using the refine edge feature you can adjust a selection radius and even customize your selection further by taking advantage of the Refine Radius tool ().
